    after 9 months and beautiful baby, getting back into the swing of things.

      Great to see you again Rae! Take your time and ease into it. Maybe some elliptical with some good relaxing stretches? Go for it...it will feel great once you start. :)

    Hills were not to bad but very rocky. Took Luna and Reese. Dog pullin my forward son dragging me back. Had to let Luna run free. and give Reese a few piggy back rides.

    I know it probably would be so bad if I forced myself everyday on that machine. I could get pass├ęd this two miles. I miss the days I could run 6-10 miles before I was tired.

    i am feeling better in the later evening and night, so i think i am going to try and get my exercising done then. from the time of waking up til before dinner i dont really feel like doin much.

    week 7 ...no lie, it took me 30 minutes to walk what i can normally run 3 miles. and i was tired when i was done, thank goodness i had my puppy luna to pull me home.

    I think I am just as excited to have got up and completed 2 very hard miles as I was to run my first 10 miles. AND NOW i am ready for a nap... LOL

    yoga is a new thing for me. doing a dvd... 20 lower body... it felt good but some of the moves made me feel like throwing up.

      Hmmmm, not good to do things that make us puke. Nice yoga work out despite the nausea. :)

  10. Oh My Goodness! I am so tired and feel so lazy... I am sleeping like 14 hours in a day, possibly more. I just look at my elliptical and think, yeah right, im too tired to even walk over to it. ... read more

      We're here Rae. I do, however, think that if you have been that tired you have definitely needed the rest. Especially in the first trimester. Follow your body's call - it will know. Yoga sounds perfect and gentle elliptical if you can make it over to the machine that is. All the best. You're muscles aren't going anywhere....maybe new ones coming though :)

    Don't usually log walking but considering it feels like more of a workout now... Me and the kids and miss Luna bug got a short trail walk in down at the lake while hubby was fishing.

    Oh how I wish I could get my lazy butt out of bed early every morning. 60-70 degrees is so much better than 75-85 even at night.

    Good, felt a little labored going up the hills, thinking about sticking to the elliptical through first trimester.

      Hmmm, good move walking. I hate those weird pains - never know exactly what they are or their significance. I look them up and get too many possibilities. Hope the pain went away. :)

    I know it's not the same as running but I love my time so much better on the elliptical

      That's great Rae! The elliptical is a fantastic work out and kind on the joints. Is yours a home elliptical? I have one, but I feel it's a bit fragile and after some years I still can't figure out all the functions and programs. :)

      yea, its my personal elliptical. it is very stable. nordic track. out of all the buttons I use 2 of them, start and resistance. lol

      -Ah, those are the only buttons I've managed too....(however, it takes me a few tries or I have to unplug and re-plug the machine to even do that!!)
