Okay so first I have a cold-strike1, didn't eat much before I started-strike2, I finally looked at my weight (haven't since Nov.)-strike3. 5 miles was all I could do of the 7. With my warm up it was over 5.5, then 1 mile on elip, plus .50 mile in the pool that's 7 total and for this nasty cold that's GOOD ENOUGH! Lately I have been doing run/walk intervals of 1:30/1 or sometime 2/1...today I ran 3mins/walked 1 min. so I pushed it more than I have before so really, pace be damned. This was the best run to date based on endurance so I WILL TAKE IT AND BE PROUD!

Now this is my own personal pep talk that is much needed after that scale incident! Listen here lady it took you over 9 years to get into this state you are not going to be a supermodel overnight, nor are you going to use alternative methods to get you to your goal. In 9 months you went from being a sloth to finishing a marathon, more than most will do in their entire lives. You have NOTHING to prove to anyone anymore except yourself. Life is a struggle for you right now, as long as you keep moving everything will fall into place. EFF that scale, be proud of who you are because you have MANY family and friends who are so proud of you! Now go enjoy a nice protein shake and your vegetarian lunch and to hell with that scale!!!!
*Disclaimer* If anyone posts anything about magic weight loss drinks or pills or whatever I will delete it! I got here on my own and DAMN IT I'm going to lose the weight on my own too!!! Thanks for your concern, but I'm doing this MY WAY!

You did good on your LSD (LONG SLOW DISTANCE). The heck with the scale. If it's not going to be nice, then don't play with it anymore. You may not weigh what you want but you have improved your health GREATLY over the past 12 months. Many skinny people aren't healthy.
Did great on your intervals, too. You will definitely by running beside me in March. Very proud of you.

Great workout, Rachelle! I'm going to take your pep talk and pretend that it's for me as well. Starting tomorrow I'm going to pretend this week didn't even happen and wipe it off the books. Nowhere to go but forward, right? I gave up my supermodel dreams a while ago. The only way I'm going to look like Heidi Klum is if I have her DNA. Anyway, at least you got out there and did SOMETHING. That's much better than I can say. Keep it up, lady! ;-)

throw away the scale. Most celebrities are air brushed or have had plastic surgery. You seem to be doing everything right. Keep up the good work.
