I was totally running late this morning -- I normally tap snooze on my iPhone when my 5am alarm rings and tend to nap for about half the time it gives you (4 out of 8 minutes)... Well, I used the f... read more

    I'm disappointed I didn't finish my workout :\ I just panicked after doing the warm up workout (600m) when I saw 12 x 100m @ pace :10 rest. +_+ I ended up doing only 600m before I called ... read more

good WP Monday! 5 mi 00:55 11:05 pace

Ran with Cristina & Del at WP! I have missed running, and the mileage shows it... It was 5 blissful miles, too (ok, maybe I struggled slightly towards mile 4), and enjoyed it so much, we didn&#... read more

The distance is approximate -- plus or minus 200yds lol. It's difficult to keep track of it on the lake. :) I'm just glad I was able to do the full workout as I was able to draft off some... read more

great Masters swim: Wk6 Thur 3300 yd 01:25 45:20 pace

Felt great tonight: during and after the workout. We began with 500yd warm up (300 swim, 200 kick) and then moved to our main sets -- first we did a pyramid workout of 200yd, 400yd, 600yd, 400yd, 2... read more

great Recovery Open Water Swim 400 m 00:20 80:28 pace

After the Long Beach Tri, my sis Annelle wanted to go in the ocean for her first open water swim back. I wasn't really that tired so I went along (plus she needed piece of mind/company despite... read more

good Long Beach Triathlon: T2 00:01:28

A bit happier with my T2 time, but could have probably done closer to 1 min.

blah Long Beach Triathlon: Bike 11 mi 00:42 15.8mph pace

Disappointed w/ my bike split, but I really shouldn't be too hard on myself considering I didn't really train for the bike portion -- save for a few (less than 5) 25 minute rides on the i... read more

good Long Beach Triathlon: T1 00:03:24

Not my fastest swim 800m swim and am a bit disappointed but understand that my fitness level isn't where I was last year around September (I did Malibu Tri's 800m around 19mins). Did I do... read more

This run sucked, which I should have expected! I don't know why I had delusions that I'd be doing this at a 9:30, even 10min/mi pace when the latest run that I did was the day before (and... read more

      You're an Inspiration:

Hey, don't sweat it! It's still inspiring to read your tri experiences. Since the weather is "cooling" down, it should be easier to go on morning or evening runs to get back on track while you're in Vegas. ;)
