good Run/walk with Dexter the anchor 6.5 km 00:35 08:39 pace
We started out alright, but Dex was not able to go at a decent pace tonight. Maybe the heat, maybe the smell of smoke from forest fires in the air. It was mostly a test for my legs to see how a cou... read more

great Run with the Saturday morning... 12.6 km 01:20 10:13 pace
Easy run in the sunshine with Bill & the boys. The only downside of this run was my Garmin died. I guess I should be happy with 4.5 years from it. Oh oh, now what to do for Woody's?

I have a 410 available ;) Yeah shameless plug. OTOH - the 410 is disc and Costco is selling them out for about $155 with the deluxe HR monitor.

Thanks Russell. The Garmin worked today. I still don't trust it but maybe.... I know my brother has a 305 that he's had collecting dust in a drawer too.

This one felt good. We did this intentionally as a slow first then fast second to shock the legs and get used to pushing after fatigue has set in. We were flying in the last 1.5 km and it felt great.

Shauna Wessner (not sure if you know her) is doing an informal, but great, class in the JS McCormick library Wednesday nights 6:30-730. It's a fairly small group and you'd be more than welcome if you're interested.
