Today I waited for the heat of the day (29 deg) then I put on my warm long pants, 2 tech shirts and a windbreaker, a tech sweat band as ear covers, sunglasses to protect from the wind, a tech cap, and my hydration belt. Hit the road and the first couple of miles were tough (mind games) and as I knew, the further I ran the better I felt. Finally at mile 6 I hit my groove and second wind (not what Mother Nature was buffeting me with) and I finished a nice 4 town run with a grin.
It DOES feel good to be running again. Now for next week to mix the training by getting a swim, more stair training for the next climb on March 4th and running for the Half Marathon next Saturday. Cycling after I return from the business trip. :)

I laughed at the "heat of the day"....and "second wind" great run, it's always great when you hit your groove, one of the best feelings
