Have you run it, Coleman? I thought it was pretty flat and the constant, long uphills totally threw me off and kicked my ass.

      Thanks for the support!

  12. walk
    Federal Hill w/the husband 2.28 mi 00:43 18:40 pace

Whole body just felt exhausted today, but I made myself go out and at least walk for a little (after a three-hour nap). Maybe I need protein?

  13. walk
Walk to/from Sole of the City... 2 mi 00:27 13:30 pace

Walked to and from the race to get in a little warm up. It was so cold outside!

  14. RUN
Sole of the City 10K 6.2 mi 00:53 08:30 pace

19 second faster than at the same race last year, so I'll take it! Felt a little heavy and stiff, so I assumed it would be slower.

  15. RUN
Quick shake out 2 mi 00:18 09:09 pace

Getting ready for tomorrow's Sole of the City 10K!

  16. RUN
Giving up on the Brooks Adren... 3 mi 00:28 09:13 pace

I'm giving up on my @brooksrunning Adrenaline 13s and going back to 12s. So much arch/calf pain every time I run in them. Tried tying laces different ways, altering my stride—no luck.

I wore them for 30 days a few years ago & felt like my feet were slapping the ground.. as I started increasing my miles,my feet hurt so bad it was as if my body was too heavy for the bones in my feet to support it...walking to finish prolonged the agony. Ended up that it was plantar facilitis.. thanks to the adrenaline :( I then tried Brooks Revennas & happy since!

I'm so bummed because I love the 12s so much. I bought 13s in two different sizes and am returning both. Ordering two pairs of 12s to hold me over for awhile! I like the Revennas, too, so I may switch to those after burning through the 12s. Or maybe the 14s will be out and better!
