  1. RUN
good Peachtree Road Race 6.33 mi 00:48 07:34 pace

Haven't looked up my official time, but considering my miles going in and how tired/achy my legs felt, I'm actually fairly happy with this time.

  2. RUN
good XC practice - Daniels Bridge 2 mi 00:21 10:30 pace

Didn't plan to run today so I'd be ready for the Peachtree Road Race tomorrow, but had to get it in.

  3. walk
    good Monastery start 3 mi

Got caught in a downpour on the way back. The kids loved it.

  4. RUN
    Geezer run 8 mi 01:14 09:15 pace

Legs are tired/sore. Taking Friday off, but not sure that'll be enough to do anything too thrilling for PTRR.

  5. RUN
    good Pilgreens 6 mi 01:01 10:09 pace

Rained on at the start, but the rest held off until the drive home

  6. RUN
xc - collier at Daniels Bridge 2 mi 00:21 10:30 pace

Only one quick pause in the middle to look for deer.

  7. RUN
    good 6.19 mi 00:56 09:02 pace

Tried 800s. Got in 3, and then crashed and burned. Overall, weather was as good as you can expect in GA.

  8. RUN
    good Daniel's Bridge - xc practice... 2 mi 00:22 10:50 pace

Almost got him to run the whole thing; had a couple of minor stops for shoestrings. He babbled the entire time and I now know more about Castle clash than desired.

  9. RUN
good easy recovery - Fairbury 6 mi 00:59 09:49 pace

Need to see my chiropractor next week; I can tell something is out of alignment.

Can I pick your brain on this? I've had back pain for 3+ months now. It started after my post-ultra break. Even tho I switched to lower running mileage, I got back into weekly spin and a new twice weekly Bootcamp type class (squats, lunges, burpees, etc.) I blamed those changes, but thought I'd get used to it...

I can tell when my hips aren't aligned when I lay on the floor, and it's amazing how much that messes up the length difference of my legs

I think I'm going to give them a call and just see... Since both my massage therapist and doctor have recommended it (and I didn't think doctors recommended chiropractors), and the pain is not going away, I've got to try something! Thanks!

Ready to be done with gravel.

  11. RUN
good Fairbury long run 12 mi 01:45 08:45 pace

Still slower on flat than hills, but it's the best I've felt since the 10k.

  12. RUN
    Fairbury, NE 7.15 mi 01:11 09:55 pace

Not sure if it's my sandals during the day or all of the running on gravel, but my calves are super-tight. I just can't make myself move; was supposed to be track day, but it wasn't... read more
