  1. RUN
    good Dutchtown 15 mi 02:11 08:43 pace

My back has been so tight since I slipped on the stairs. I was hurting the last few miles (very uncomfortable at the very least)

  2. walk
    good Family walk 4.75 mi

Some humidity, but otherwise very fall-like weather. Overcast with a few sprinkles. Saw a copperhead, praying mantis, lizard, huge garden spider, and a ton of butterflies, which kept the kids happy.

  3. RUN
    good Square - Shafton 8.05 mi 01:10 08:41 pace

Cheneda started with us, but only needed a few more. I overslept and they ran back to pick me up.

  4. RUN
    good 4 x 1000 8 mi 01:07 08:22 pace

Was supposed to do 5, but I had my watch set wrong. Doh! 6:35, 6:29, 6:29, and 6:19 min/mile. Aiming for 6:30 min/mil.

  5. RUN
    good Gander - Cheneda 8 mi 01:13 09:07 pace

Guess on time, but I think it should be close. Squats on Sunday kicked my butt and I was too stiff to think about speed work of any kind. Hopefully Thursday

  6. RUN
    good 15th Street 7.19 mi 01:02 08:39 pace

Decided I definitely have moved something around in my spine when I fell down the stairs, so opted to skip tempo and get some miles. Going to try and see chiro tomorrow.

Yikes, good luck with the back. Chiro will hopefully fix you up!

Hope you can get in and get fixed up! My back is still giving me trouble, 6 months and 3 very expensive tests later, all of which were clear. Chrio and massage didn't fix it, so I suppose PT is next?...

  7. RUN
    good HCHS 8 mi 01:13 09:06 pace

Skipped track because I can still feel my Achilles from falling down the stairs Sunday. Not sure I would have done well with it anyway between tired legs and the post-rain humidity.

  8. RUN
good NewSole with Kelly 15.1 mi 02:10 08:37 pace

Faster than I intended, but Kelly is a little faster than me so it was good to have a push when I know I'm capable. Ready for my recovery run tomorrow.

  9. walk
good High Falls trail 1.75 mi

Beautiful morning to take the kids out on the trails.

  10. RUN
good Kings Mill 10 mi 01:22 08:14 pace

Miles 3.5 - 5.5 was a low grade hill. Not too bad after we passed it. Thankful for cooler weather and lower humidity. Hit around MP for a couple of the last few miles.

  11. RUN
good Licken' Chicken with Lisa 7.15 mi 01:01 08:31 pace

We managed negative splits on a fairly hilly route, so we were both very happy campers today. I imagine the cooler temps (yay for 70) and low humidity helped.

  12. RUN
    good 6 x 800 7.25 mi 01:03 08:41 pace

    6:22-6:38. Trying for 6:30/mile.
