  1. RUN
good Warm up and cool down 2 mi

Right hip wonky after. Hoping some time with a foam roller will knock out the goofiness.

  2. RUN
good Turkey Trot - VA Beach 3.02 mi 00:22 07:16 pace

Course was a little short. Right hip started doing something weird about half way down. Didn't hurt per se, but definitely not normal. I have a feeling the 9 hr car drive rearranged my alignme... read more

Nice AG finish! We've all done those disorganized races for a cause....they have some charm! Happy Thanksgiving.

  3. RUN
good Virginia Beach out and back 4 mi 00:33 08:20 pace

Sun went down fast or I would have tried for 5-6

  4. walk
    Beach Walk 1.5 mi

Snuck one in before the sun set; needed to walk off a small portion of the fabulous fried seafood I had for lunch.

  5. walk
great beach and aquarium walk 4 mi

Cold day, but at least sunny.

  6. RUN
    good treadmill 2 mi 00:20 10:00 pace

Getting stir crazy from being sick. Had to do something

  7. RUN
    good Square 8.1 mi 01:16 09:22 pace

First run where my legs didn't feel dead afterward. Pace still felt like work, but not bad 2 weeks post marathon.

  8. RUN
good East Lake - Crumbly 8.25 mi 01:16 09:12 pace

More miles than I should have had this week, but I couldn't miss the opportunity to run one of my favorite hilly routes.

  9. walk
    Family Walk 2.5 mi

Had to cut it short; forgot how early the sunsets now.

  10. RUN
good East Lake Kroger 6.25 mi 00:59 09:24 pace

Finally a cool morning that was dry. Amazing.

  11. RUN
good easy from square 6.06 mi 00:59 09:39 pace

Still raining...need an ark. Cooler today.

  12. FIT
good Tank Top Arms - Fitness Blender 00:33

This felt good, even though I've been remiss with doing strength and stretching. Going to try and turn it around so I can shatter my full PR next fall.

  13. RUN
    good Square 6.06 mi 00:57 09:24 pace

First run back. Legs felt great, but it felt like an elephant was sitting on my right lung. It started as a side ache, but moved to just being constricted. The ridiculous humidity and temp probab... read more

  14. walk
    good Greenville 4 mi

It was slow going, but hubby and I explored the area. Nothing like a little walk after a marathon.

  15. RUN
good Spinx Marathon 26.24 mi 03:43 08:30 pace

Just missed my BQ, but overall, I'm a happy camper. My knee started to complain at the 15k, but maintained until the end. Had some problems with toe cramps in my left foot, which has never hap... read more

Just saw this. Congrats on the AG and overall finish. Interesting about the toe cramps. You can always count on something out of the ordinary in a marathon. Way to fight through that and the knee. You seem to be recovering well since this one. Good luck.

Thanks,Tim. Decided to be smart and just do a half this spring. Of course, not being completely intelligent, I'm likely going to run Knoxville. Nothing like beating yourself up with hills.
