I never experienced the 17's that people thought were so bad- this is my first pair of Wave Rider's since 15. It was my first run in them so it felt more like running in new shoes than anything else, I could tell they were not broken in and I think they will require breaking in.

They felt a little bulky in the heels but I'm used to the Elixirs or the Hitogami's which are a lower profile shoe. I do think the laces are too short and may replace them.

  2. RUN
good Tour De Parking Garages 5.5 mi

First parking garage run in awhile, kinda tough but a beautiful day out there yesterday. Really enjoyed it and glad to get some incline work in.

  3. VELO
    good 20 mi

The instructor didn't show at spin this morning. I was shocked at how many people left just because she didn't show (as in, they left the gym and went home or to work or wherever they go ... read more

Yeah if I make the effort to get the gym, I'm not leaving without a workout. Plenty of things to do at the gym in lieu of a class.

Yah some people opted to do the elliptical or lift weights, which is cool, but at least do something... especially if you made the effort to get there at 6 AM. I just started doing spin again (to hopefully help my running cadence and also cross train on days I don't do the speed workouts), but right now this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth with instructors not showing up. I may just run on Thursday mornings from now on...

Thank you, I am feeling better today but I did not get up early for spin this morning. Slept in and it felt good. Not sure what was up last night, just felt really weak and I was pale :(. So, trying to make sure I don't get sick and have to take a bunch of days off here!

I don't know if it's flavored or not. I'm not injesting it... LOL. Check your Dollar Tree in Mt. Pleasant, they probably have it. It's great for soaking in the tub after runs!
