great Pre Yoga Pop 4 mi

    Easy downtown mileage.

Out-of-towners sure packed Hyman's Seafood tonight but especially the sidewalk outside on Meeting. I have never eaten there because I live here, and it's a notori... read more

  8. {Blogged} Training for life (and reflections on the race that wasn’t)

    • Alison

Very sorry you didn't get to race, but it sounds like you made the right decision. I am kind of in the same boat - I have a half coming up this weekend and I wasn't able to train nearly as well as I'd like (minor injury back in Feb. and a cold, snowy winter). I know I can finish it without incident, but if I try to push myself I'll regret it. I'm going to run it without a watch and at an easy pace to avoid getting hurt.

  13. RUN
good Tour De Parking Garages 6 mi

Garages aren't for cars, they're for runners :)

    • Alison

My friends and I debated running in a parking garage a few months ago when the roads were full of snow, but we never got around to it. Sounds like a great workout - I might have to try it next winter!
