    Ran a mile at the Mt. Pleasant Track with Fleet Feet's Black Friday bootcamp. It was a lot of fun but that track made me thankful for our rubberized one in Summerville.

      Oh, I love Fleet Feet, but I don't like that track! I go to the Park West one for my speedwork because it's rubberized.

      It wasn't bad for the workout we did because we only ran a mile on it and did exercises between the laps, but I can't imagine doing a speed workout there. The Park West and PG tracks are soooo much nicer!

      I'm "ditching" my Garmin (aka just running with it covered) more and more, and loving it more and more every time I do. So glad you were able to let go of the numbers and still enjoy it! (Well, as much as someone can enjoy the track, that is!)

      I really love the track, being surrounded by friends and pushing each other. I ran for so many years just listening to my body and had a lot of fun doing that. Sometimes it's good not to get caught up in the race... unless you're racing.
