This dvd is supposed to be the warm up before you go into p90x...but it seemed too easy so I might just go straight into p90x. Tried it out though. Wasn't impressed with it.

Any time you do a higher intensity you will burn more calories. Running faster burns more calories than running slower (i.e. comfortable pace). They say you burn more fat calories running slower, but in the end it really doesn't matter whether you burn fat calories or carb calories. Total calories burned is what matters for weightloss.

Of course, my comment above assumes you are keeping the total number of minutes of exercise the same in both scenarios (high intensity vs. comfortable pace).

Yeah, I counted calories from August 2005 to February 2007 and logged my meals (I used myfooddiary.com). And it is a pain in the butt to log the meals, I agree. Sometimes it's worth it, though.

I did weight watchers a couple years ago and that was easier since it's logging points, but the online log doesn't always have what I am eating and so it's hard to be specific so I just mentally keep track and let the body bugg tell me what I burn in comparison. haha
