I was supposed to do that thing Bala said helps you overcome some mind barrier thing. 400m loops ad infinitum. Flagged off a bus-load of ladies who went to Pitchavaram. They all waddled in late. It was 7 am when I finished that task and started my run. Had almost fallen back asleep at that stage (woke up at 4:45). Did 25 x 400m. 15 of them in usual direction and 10 in the opposite. People looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well.


this is fabulous pace for the repetitions. you have almost maintained the same pace as your would have in a road run. Great performance Preeti. Proud of You

Bala - I do 5-7k like this often and in fact, I tend to run faster than usual long run pace (some old memories of sprinting on those tracks I think). Today I was definitely feeling like I was slowing down in second half of the run. I want to try this for longer to figure this out... After hyderabad perhaps.

Mani- have to head out for an event in the morning so wanted to get some decent mileage in for the weekend. But this was not satisfactory :-(

sorry it was not enough mileage for you. were you planning something bigger than 10k? maybe you can squeeze a quick run in sometime tomorrow or monday morning perhaps?
