Agreed, if that's how it came across then it was wrong. My attitude to injury is that I'll try to encourage my body to heal itself. My attitude to doctors and therapists is that I will take everything they say with a grain of salt. Anyway, I really hope you are healing and I hope that your latest physiotherapist is the right one for you.

I just wanted to add, doctors and therapists are accustomed to dealing with people who won't change their habits, won't listen to the advice, won't do the exercises or whatever on their own, are afraid of any pain, etc. so that's why you have to pay attention on your own behalf and so forth. Just wanted to mention.

Ugh, sorry to hear this. Sometimes it feels like when things go wrong, everything has to go wrong. I hope though that this passes and soon you have better days again.

Good point, @Mike: It actually came frothing out of the gash at the start and I was convinced I’d have to walk the whole way back! Fortunately it eventually somehow managed to plug the hole. 😅

Bummer! Or rather, no-bum-er. I have been thinking about what you said about your back not having what you called "nerve entrapment" and I dunno. My reaction to something not working is to try to get it working, always, no matter what it is. I recommend this course of action, it's the only thing that has ever worked for me. Anyway, good luck tomorrow.
