      Better to stop than to tear it. When the calf says "No", you'd better listen. I've ignored that sign and regretted it. You were wiser than me.

      Thank you for your support. This always happens and I don't know what to do about it. It keeps me from the long distance runs which is frustrating.

      It can be any number of things: do you drink enough water the day before a long run, do you stretch after a run, do you perhaps start too quickly, do you eat too heavily before a run? All these may have an effect on your performance. I had calf cramping problems for ages (night-time "charley horse" cramps). The doctor tried everything: vitamin B, bananas, blood test, everything. In the end I found out I had cramps whenever I'd had white wine the evening before (from the sulphites they add).

      I'm going to attempt my long run on Wednesday so I'll fuel up, drink water, foam roll, do yoga and stretch. We'll see how it does. I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you again. Sometimes its comforting to know you are not the only one.

    I killed it to my surprise. I had to project bc the mic was in an out so they couldn't hear me call out the next step. I'm so glad I'm done for the day.

    Brain fart for the whole class. I couldn't count, mixed up the steps a few times. I was worried about how step would go if I can't get it together with a body works class.

    I am loving how quickly my body is recovering. It was so hard to get out of bed but once I got moving, I felt like light on my feet. I like this group, down for whatever. Great class, 2 more to go.

    The last day of the month, I had to do it. This was the longest walk EVER! It wasn't bad until the very end. I was in no rush, had to finish the month strong.

    Went to Sarasota RIGHT after my run for an LA Fitness training. First Body Works training. The first half was the lecture, the other was an actual class. I LOVE my job!
