      It's sometimes hard to tell how you need to dress until you get out there. It was overcast here and looked a lot cooler than it actually was. Good job getting the run in!

      It was overcast here too; I should've known though because it wasn't terribly chilly when I took the kids to school. However, I went to bed too late last night so my brain wasn't awake when I got up this morning so I wasn't thinking straight, LOL!!! On the flip side, I did find the lid to my Chapstick. It was in my bedroom, not on the ground, LOL!

      Forgot to mention that as I was running a pick up truck that runs on diesel passed me. The next few breaths I blew out, I blew out smoke which was kind of odd since I didn't taste it or feel it in my lungs and as it wasn't cold enough to see my breath I know it wasn't that! YUCK!!!

      It's for a good cause, so why not do it? You can always run it like a fun run - everything doesn't always have to be about the competition. :)

      I agree, Glenda. I never run the Komen competitively because I don't feel like that's the purpose of the run (see, I can't even call it a race, LOL!)

      Thanks, Glenda. As I said, I need all the encouragement I can get. I've gained some weight I can't seem to lose and I'm getting frustrated and can't seem to shake this negativity.
