Wow, I haven't been able to run a full 5K in two weeks since I hurt my hip. But today, without a warm up (I'm bad, I know, but I did stretch a lot prior) I ran this time. My last mile was a 9:03, my best mile time ever. My goal is to break a 30 minute and now, break a 9:00 minute mile. That would be so awesome for this non-runner, weight lifting Momma.. Tomorrow is my 55th Birthday, I've met all my 2017 fitness goals and I'm looking forward to another fun year of working out and eating healthy. Age is just a number, don't let it stop you from being awesome. Off to the gym to lift light so that tomorrow, I can bench my body weight again... :)
