  1. Cool! Successfully imported 4 old workouts from my Garmin 305 into Dailymile. That will save some time with future activities. Didn't get the routes, but I always include a link to it in Garmin Connect.

  2. Taking a few days off from running. I don't want to overdo things and miss yet another summer. This is my forth attempt at running the Tely 10 (16k) Road Race (http://www.nlaa.ca/tely10/). My 16 week training schedule doesn't officially start until Apr... read more

  3. greatSnowshoeing with Poles 2.56 km / 00:37

+10C, sunshine and snow, a nearly perfect combination. Finally got out to do some snowshoeing with friends. Saw lots of people XC skiing and sliding, as well as some chickadees and a grey jay. (1.59 mi, 23:31/mi) http://connect.garmin.com/activity/2700... read more

  4. greatFirst Club Night Run of 2010 6.11 km / 00:41 10:49 pace

Who'd have thought that -3C would be too warm? With no wind, it was a nice night for a run, except for the few icy spots, potholes and other obstacles on the road. I almost enjoyed the run, except my shins were acting up, otherwise I could have easily ... read more

  5. #WeWeWe - Weekly Wednesday Weigh-In: 191lbs. -1 from last week. Goal: 170lbs, 21lbs to go. #RTDshow

  6. goodClub Hill Workout Session 2 2.35 km / 00:16 10:58 pace

My plan was to do 6 60 second repeats, but the math works out to 80 seconds each direction. I guess I slowed down after the first one. Felt better than I did doing just 4 last time. 4 x 90 next week. (1.46 mi, 10:58/mi) http://connect.garmin.com/activi... read more

  7. goodClub Hill Session Warm-up 2.23 km / 00:14:36 10:32 pace

Took it slow and easy, so I'd have lots left for the hill workout. Temperature was just above freezing, so the wet streets didn't get icy. A little bit of wind. (1.39 mi. 10:30/mi) http://connect.garmin.com/activity/26584969

  8. goodSkate Skiing at Gander 1.73 km / 00:16

Practicing on my skate skis. This will take a lot more more time. Feel like a toddler just learning how to walk. It only comes together for brief moments. (1.07 mi, 15:02/mi) http://connect.garmin.com/activity/26490462

  9. goodClassic Skiing in Gander 5.08 km / 00:43

Perfect ski conditions over groomed trails. Just below freezing, with a biting wind, but mostly sheltered among the trees, and the sun came out fairly often. (3.15 mi, 13.44/mi) http://connect.garmin.com/activity/26490469

  10. Shared Photo

Club run for 2010-03-07. Me, Scott, and Chris. Colin took the picture with my old cell phone. We finally have a good amount of snow, now that winter is just about over.

I've used the double kayak in the background a few times, and travelled aboard the boat it is on a number of times too. A friend of mine built it - the boat, not the kayak. Chris did make a very nice wooden strip kayak last winter though. Am I rambling?
