Didn't care about the rain, I just wanted to go. Headed for home when the thunder started. Wish I could have kept going. I was loving it today!

My first run since the marathon. A little calf soreness still but I took it slow. Headed home once the thunder and pouring rain started. Finished on the TM.

Got my Goodlife photos yesterday. Never bought race photos before, but I'm considering it. They actually look pretty good. Of course the first thing I looked at was my form

I'm still really happy with my time. First time doing the full course and I enjoyed it! I ran the last leg of the relay with the old finish at Queens Park. I like this finish a lot better!

great 7.09 km 00:41 09:12 pace
If every day could be like today I'd be so happy. Need to adapt to running in the heat but I did well. Threw in a few strides at the end. Easy pace has definitely gotten faster.

Sounds like a very good - and very doable - plan. I'm sure you'll nail this one. By the way, I thought of you yesterday when was in my local Bulk Barn, and passed by the chocolate-covered pretzels and teddy grahams. :-)

Awesome about the goals. You can do it for sure! I have that book and I have been slowly reading it. I was actually going to use a plan from it for the next race in the fall (the one I am using right now is from 'Road Racing for Serious Runners' and I will see how it goes next weekend too!) So it is a good plan then? Excellent. I can't wait until next weekend!! Oh and so sick you eat that stuff on the run, that's wicked haha
