    Nice and easy 12km out and back along the trail. Still a little soreness at first but ok after 2km. Still finished at my usual 12k time. Beautiful morning run!

    A slow start but warmed up after a few km. This was my first real run since the 50k. A little sore in spots but nothing major.

  9. Never had to pack a half way point drop bag before. What would you put in it besides food?

      You're other shoes - you never know. Freeze some water bottles so that you have nice, cold/icy water? Some kind of treat/pick me up. I'd also freeze a wet face cloth and put it in a baggie so you can wipe your face/arms down... it'll feel awesome.

    Run was just ok tonight. Temp was fantastic but I had a sore calf muscle all day after getting a cramp in the middle of the night. Kept the pace slower than usual because of it.
