Really happy with this LR. Was not sure how it was going to go after having a faster than planned MP run yesterday. But Higdon's goal of getting me to run on tired legs worked. My legs were for sure not fresh and snappy, but they motored on when they were feeling like boat anchors. Even had a bit of a progressive going. Bad news is I ran too fast overall. Goal pace was 8:45 and that lasted the first few miles. This was a giant supported group run with aide stations and I got a tiny bit competitive at times.

    Very nice! It is hard to control the legs sometimes, but you did an amazing job. And I'm kind of amazed that you stopped at 13.9. I'm crazy and would've ran loops around a parking lot.

    I thought about looping the gym parking lot, but I wanted to be done. I should of extended the mid-point turn around to get that tiny bit in!
