  1. FIT
    great Bikram Yoga 01:30

Stood on the tip toes of my bad foot. Very proud of making the (doctor-approved) effort. Wonderful class!

  2. FIT
    great Bikram Yoga 01:30

    Amazing pain relief. I'm hooked.

  3. walk
injured Sandy to Draper Trails 4.4 mi 01:14 16:49 pace

First three miles was awesome. Then I had a SPECTACULAR crash and sprained the heck out of my ankle. Last 1.4 was limping to civilization... slowly.

Yeah... just scrapped up and bruised all over. I landed on my knees and chest. My ankle is huge. I hope the swelling goes down in the next few days. Thanks for your concern :-)

  4. walk
    injured 1.64 mi 00:29 17:40 pace

Not sure it was worth the bother. Feel much worse for the effort. I miss running.

  5. RUN
    good track 2.4 mi 00:25 10:25 pace

Vanquishing muscle spasms with a walk/run. Had to hold my hand up 'teacher I have a question' style to keep my finger from squirting like a Monty Python sketch. Great conversation starter.

  6. walk
    injured track 2 mi 00:30 15:00 pace

I'm having a bad flare up so I'm more proud of this 2 mile walk then I am of some of our 13 mile runs.

  7. RUN
    injured track 2.2 mi 00:25 11:21 pace

My spine and hip wasn't participating so we cut it short.

  8. RUN
great Dimple Dell 3.1 mi 00:34 10:58 pace

Started Avery's 14th year with a 5:00 AM 5K and a trip to Starbucks. Now on to the presents.

  9. RUN
    good Track 2 mi 00:25 12:30 pace

Did a set of Squats, Push-ups, Lunges and Plank w/each mile + sit ups. Looked like Hunchback of Notre Dame but I was fast *grin*

  10. RUN
    injured 0.68 mi 00:09:00 13:14 pace

Well... that was a total disaster. Ran 1/3 mile before things went badly & had to creep back. Maybe need a few more days on meds before I try again.

  11. FIT
    good East Canyon Rim/ Brock's trail 13.13 mi 04:09 18:57 pace

It was 95 degrees and we were melting but we had so much fun. Never intended to go so far. 2088ft elevation change!!!

  12. RUN
    good 2.4 mi 00:24 10:00 pace

Good run cut short by irregular heart beat. Oh well. Then some woman started telling me off - completely out of the blue - about how I had no idea what it's like to struggle to work out. I tried to... read more

  13. swim
    blah 200 yd 00:06:00 52:48 pace

1st attempt at a brick workout. I absolutely cannot swim when my asthma is acting up. Did backstroke for breathing purposes. Still very hard.

  14. RUN
    alright 2.1 mi 00:21 10:00 pace

Ran at the track with Avery. Lots of asthma and pain. Walked every 3rd lap and still made very good time... strange.

  15. RUN
    good 2.8 mi 00:40 14:17 pace

Ran straight up the mountain trails until it was too steep to run & then we hiked. 1st time out in my Newton trail shoes. Felt very different.

  16. VELO
great Draper Canal Trail 12.1 mi 01:21 9.0mph pace

I like 'bike riding to Starbucks' way better than 'cycling for exercise'. Had a great time with my kiddos. Slower but farther is better for us.

  17. VELO
    alright 7.35 mi 00:41 10.8mph pace

Second time out on my bike. Went much better then the last time. Still hard on my back but I think it's just the muscles learning to move that way again.

  18. RUN
    great 2 mi 00:20 09:52 pace

Running on the track is so awesome. No giant hills, air conditioning. Bliss!
