Originally thought I'd do more than 10 this morning, but the day is wasting away. We'll see how tomorrow goes. Hope everyone has an enjoyable Saturday :)

  4. walk
    good 6 mi

Quick six to start the day. I'd like to try for some additional miles later today, but it's looking like it will be tough to squeeze them in. We'll see.

  5. walk
    good 14 mi

Near as I can tell, this is my longest distance since March '11. Granted, it was walking, but nice to get some longer mileage under my belt. Plan on doing some more tomorrow, have to see how... read more

  8. walk
    good 6 mi

Nice walk with my better half. Saw a beautiful barred owl watching us from the treetops. About 4-miles in started to feel tinges of pain in my lower back and had to stop and stretch a few times. ... read more

  9. FIT
    tired Core work

30-minutes w/ the evening news. Jym Ganahl does not see an end to our heatwave for the foreseeable future.

  10. FIT
    alright Core work

    30-minutes w/ the Feud :)

  11. FIT
tired Core work w/ my 8-year old son

30-minute core workout. Hard to keep a straight face at times. Knew he was done when he started gyrating and talking about stretching his butt :)

  12. FIT
    tired Core w/ Clint

30-minutes of core work. Surfing through the channels I came across a good one, Heartbreak Ridge. Always nice to see Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Highway again.

Hardly. I'd rather have the Publishers Clearinghouse cameras surprise me one day.

      Nice Job:

you're consistent, I like that!!!! How's that back? Is the core work aggrivating it at all?

The back is fine (knock on wood). I haven't noticed any soreness from the exercises thus far. Of course, I'm only in the "beginning" stages at this point.

    tired Core - day 2

30 minutes. Painful on several accounts: actual pain and the realization how poor my mid-section is. Looking forward to see what progress I can make in a month's time.

Jamison and I are in a challenge...I'm giving up my sweet tooth addiction & he's giving up his umpteen oz. of daily soda in an attempt to get in better running shape. We gotta get his arse back on DM...

Good luck w/ the challenge. Yeah, I sent Jamison a message a week or so ago just to check-in on him.

30 minutes; ouch. lol - this is gonna be a process.

  17. Not sure why, I'm not aware of anything I did to aggravate it, but my back has really regressed. Just gonna have to baby it and take it slow.

  18. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful DM Moms :)

HE'S BAAAACK! I'm always sore getting back into things, too. Hang in there and continue to put that rest day in there. Great job, Paul!

  20. RUN
    alright 6 mi

81° & mostly sunny. 1/2 & 1/2. BFP moving again now that my back is feeling better. Fine with my performance for having 2-weeks off. Considered going for 8 but ran out of time.
