I reversed my normal route and did the ridge trail first, then the Saratoga Gap in the way back. It was also my first hike in over three weeks, so it kind of kicked my ass. For a middle of winter hike, it felt like spring with temperatures in the high 60s, low 70s. My average heart rate was 140, so I'm kind of stoked about that as that meant I burnt calories, shed same fat, and increased my cardiovascular all at the same time!
