    Yard work is GREAT exercise! Squatting to pick up raked leaves, then rising works your thighs like lunges; pushing the lawn mower instead of riding it gives you cardio ... I love all that movement. :)

    totally agreed, and it makes your yard look pretty!!! we redid our landscaping and I planted a small garden this week and I was BEAT. Lifting big bags of rocks is good strength training, too!
