  1. RUN
good Recovery Run 4 mi 00:35 08:45 pace

Coming off of pneumonia, and sinus infection, I couldn't be happier about how I ran today. Beautiful afternoon around 60 degrees and sunny.

  2. RUN
    good Crisp 5k 3.1 mi 00:27 08:41 pace

I cannot beat this cold. Over a week now since getting sick. I am so done with it and want to feel good again.

  3. RUN
good Still sick, but managed 3.5 mi 00:31 08:46 pace

Getting over this cold has been intensely long. Still got a run in while the sun was still up after work.

True. Very true. I think some fresh air and getting the blood pumping helped though. Starting to kick this cold.

  6. RUN
good December begins 3.25 mi 00:28 08:43 pace

Just wanted a nice and easy run today. So nice outside. About 60 degrees in the sunshine just as the sum was setting. So crisp. Thankful for my legs feeling good.

  7. RUN
good End of November 3.1 mi 00:27 08:37 pace

The end of my recovery month. Ran a total of 7 times, healed my legs and feet. So worth it!

  8. RUN
good Hill Loop 4 mi 00:34 08:29 pace

First run in 10 days. November has been my recovery month, and this felt extra good today.

  9. RUN
    good Negative Split 5k 3.1 mi 00:26 08:22 pace

Been taking it easy, only running a few miles a week during recovery from a packed Fall season. Chilly run today with temps hovering around 30 degrees.

  10. RUN
    good 55 degree pre-vortex run 3.1 mi 00:25 08:09 pace

Felt great today. Recovery season is feeling good.

  13. RUN
great City of Oaks Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:44 07:56 pace

So excited about my finish today. Best Half of 2014. My kids finished 1:47 and 1:51. What am amazing day!

  14. RUN
    good Better 2.32 mi 00:19 08:20 pace

Foot felt a bit better today. I don't want to push it though before the race on Sunday.

  15. RUN
injured One mile fail 1 mi 00:09:17 09:16 pace

Just didn't feel right. My right foot hurt, and calf wanted to cramp. Something's awry, so I cut it short a mile in. Not going to make it worse.

  16. RUN
good Hallowed Half Marathon 13.1 mi 01:47 08:10 pace

A few right foot issues, and a Garmin fail at mile 9, numerous hills all caused a slower race than I wanted. Fastest Half this year, so really no complaints.

  17. RUN
good Pace Run 2.5 mi 00:21 08:12 pace

Went out for a quick run after work today. Basically to do a hill pace workout and get the heart rate up. Success! Pacing a Half Marathon this Sunday, just trying to be ready to lead the gang.

  18. RUN
    good Eat & Run 2.1 mi 00:19 08:52 pace

Now I remember why I don't practice this mantra. Next time I eat after I run.

  19. RUN
good Recovery Run 2.5 mi 00:22 08:43 pace

Rested a few days after Greensboro Full so get my legs back under me. I think it has helped that I haven't had to work since the race.

  20. RUN
good Greensboro Marathon 26.2 mi 03:54 08:55 pace

Wasn't sure how it would go just six days after Chicago, but I managed to hold my own on a very difficult hilly course. This race was light years different from last week. Barely a spectator, ... read more
