Evening trail run to clear the head. I think I may have had a slight bout of food poisoning in the morning and felt much better after a light run. After 4 days in a row on the trails, I don'... read more

Great run with the wifey. Normally we have an entire tribe en tow. It is an incredibly busy time at our house right now and these moments together are ones that I really enjoy.

There's nothing so special as running with your spouse and family. Sounds like you had a great time.

Easy 5K with the family today. It was a first for my oldest daughter who rode her bike the whole way. Holy crap, there is no way I am old enough to have a kid who can ride as fast as I can run. ... read more

Sweet run Patton, it's great when the whole family gets involved on a run.

(joke) -> Don't mess with the air, just tweak the hand brakes so it's gently rubbing on the tire. That will slow her down a bit and still allow you to keep the 'Good Parent' label. (/joke)

  10. We get asked a bunch about the causes of "foot numbness" during or after a run. We shot this quick video for a customer with a few solutions. http://ow.ly/anMHn

Derek and Joshua - This is a pair of Inov8 Road-X 155. Normally I do these barefoot (as I think is best). However, I had just gotten done with a pretty good workout and the thought of putting shoes off and on again was just too much :) Just tired, not lazy.

Oh my heck, you're seriously an answer to my prayers! I'm trying to get more in the habit of running on the balls of my feet (I'm a heavy heal striker) so that I don't keep getting shin splints, but I'm having trouble with it. I'm TOTALLY going to do this & hope that it helps.
