BF four miler. Dried out cracked skin on the bottoms of my feet started bothering me on the last mile. Epsom salts soaking seems to be making them feel better. Ahh.

Nice four.... Other than the thorn. You're right on the habit thing (form), it's easy to get sloppy for one reason or another.

Some of my old habit have been(and still) hard to unlearn. I think some of the ways we move may have started early in life from wearing a certain kind of shoe or had sustained an injury and then we keep moving that way even when we're not wearing that shoe or got that cast taken off. Though frustrating at times, I hope I can remain teachable.

Thank you Jen, your words are medicine to my soul. I spent a good part of the day, being a bit too stressed out. Indeed, now I am feeling restored.
I immediately went to look at our cereal containers. Sure enough, It is clear that it looks like that Jillian Michaels and that Bob whats-his-name had their way the Quaker Oats guy. Wow. He does look leaner. Uh-oh. Ol' Doughboy better look out. He'll be next. They'll turn him into something that looks like a bread stick. Thanks again.

(Harper. Bob Harper.) The Pillsbury Bread Stick. You should call Pillsbury's marketing people. You're too funny! Turn down the volume on that mental noise, and chin up! In your honor, I am going to take an extra deep breath or two today, and try to let go of some of my own stress. Thank you for making me laugh and think ... ! : )

This three miler this morning puts me a little over 160 miles of barefoot running since January of this year. I've enjoyed every step of the way. Looking forward to my next BF run. Yea feet!

For me, running barefoot is always such an adventure. I have to stay away from trying to beat the clock or improve my time. That's when I hurt myself and or get frustrated. When I run barefoot, I have to run just for the sensation of it. There are times when I'm whining from sore feet and swear that I'll never do that again. But then a day or two later, with my feet feeling better, I'm dying to get back out and run again.

It's good to see your getting in your bf runs. I'm assuming your feet are feeling better?

They are feeling better. Foot doctor is doing some magic on them to get those neuromas to calm down.
He didn't seem to mind my toes shoes that I was wearing that day of the visit. He did say that he wasn't a big fan of them. He was probably happy with the idea, when I said I didn't run wearing the toe shoes. However, and I haven't told him yet, I'm sure he'll have a fit when I tell him, not only I don't run in those toe shoes, I don't run in 'any' shoes. LOL.
