  1. RUN
    great 16.06 mi 02:49 10:31 pace

The Monday morning commute. A bit grey, but nice temperature for running. Ran all the hills; feeling much stronger than last time I did this route.

  2. RUN
    good 6.02 mi 00:59 09:48 pace

Took the long way round to collect the paper and croissants from the village shop!

  3. RUN
    great 14.17 mi 02:32 10:42 pace

Yesterday's run. Chucking it down from mile 8, but otherwise enjoyable. Ran all of the hills, including a couple I've never managed to get all the way up before.

  4. RUN
    great 6.1 mi 00:57 09:18 pace

Warm-up, 15 min out and back. 8:44 pace out, 8:37 back. Cool down and home for breakfast.

  5. RUN
    good 12.01 mi 02:04 10:17 pace

Faster than expected, as I was taking it fairly easy in consideration for the muscles that were still hurting from Body Pump yesterday, and it was 90% off road. The bluebells in the woods coming h... read more

  6. RUN
    good 6.73 mi 01:02 09:12 pace

10 x 0.25 mile intervals with 1 minute rests, warm up and cool down. Aiming for 8 min mile pace, and all but 2 were between 7:53 and 8:03. The first one is so easy and the last one so very hard!

  7. RUN
    great 6.32 mi 01:00 09:26 pace

Normally a morning runner, but there's something about a summer evening - and this felt like one. Sweatiest run of the year to date!

  8. RUN
    good 5.05 mi 00:50 09:57 pace

Legs a bit tired, but after 2 hard races in 2 weeks they're entitled. Nothing hurting, and the first bluebells are out in the woods.

Nice run Pat and yes your legs are entitled to feel a wee bit tired. Isn't it lovely to see everything starting to grown and take on colour again, finally feel we have managed to break free of winter!

  9. RUN
    good 10.06 mi 01:52 11:10 pace

Lakeland Trails Hawkshead 17K. Hilly, muddy, fabulous! Suffering a bit today from the descents.

  10. RUN
    great 6.04 mi 00:56 09:13 pace

Enough post-marathon slacking! Beautiful morning, and everything back in working order. Faster than I meant to be, but I was enjoying it so much!

  11. RUN
    tired 26.5 mi 04:16 09:38 pace

Brighton marathon - suddenly the Garmin is talking to DM again, so I'll delete the manual entry.

  12. RUN
    tired Brighton Marathon 04:16

Unofficial time. Had real trouble uploading this run to Garmin Connect, and now I have dailymile isn't identifying it as a new run, so inputting manually. It was hard work, and I didn't... read more

Hope the tomato look is calming down, probably replaced by a windswept look now with the weather in the UK at the moment. Congratulations and well done Pat, a very good time.

    Last one before Brighton!

  14. RUN
    great 8.87 mi 01:25 09:37 pace

Beautiful morning! The mud is gone, and it's so much easier. Met a herd of about 30 deer in the woods. They were a lot faster!

That's a really fast run! Well done! I'm not sure what I would do if I bumped into that many deer! That's a lot!

Wow, that really is a herd of deer, that must have been some sight. Yeah no mud either, a very nice run.

  15. swim
    alright 350 m 00:20 91:57 pace

Second swim of the week, 14 lengths alternating breast stroke and crawl, with rests in between. Definitely getting better at this :-)

  16. RUN
    good 5.17 mi 00:50 09:39 pace

Chill in my bones all day, but soon got rid of that once I dragged myself out. Close to a PB for this route.

  17. RUN
    good 6 mi 01:01 10:07 pace

Sunny crisp morning fartleking about in the woods.

  18. RUN
    good 13.11 mi 02:01 09:14 pace

Lovely morning for a run. All road, so faster than usual. Now all I have to do is keep this going for twice the distance!
