I have been sick for two days and I worked from home today. I was feeling better by evening, so I decided to get a workout in. I knew I would not be setting any new records, so I decided to take Grace with me and make it a more fun workout. I hooked up the iPhone to the speakers on her JEEP stroller and away we went. I actually took time to create a "running" playlist of some of my favorite songs. I didn't get to listen to them all so I started with my favorites. I will let you guess which one's, but if you ask me I will tell you anyway... ;D
So, not a bad run. I actually had to stop twice in the first kilometer and adjust my heart monitor, so it could have been a lot faster and I was still getting over being sick. :( Being sick sucks, but getting better sure is nice. :D
Grace pointed out all the animals along the way. I bet you can't guess everything that she saw. ;)

No racoons or possums this time. I do see the deer from time to time, there are 5 to 10 of them that hang out in our neighborhood all the time. They will be waiting in my front yard when I get home sometimes, but none this time. Do you give up?

Dooh, it is dogs and cats. LOL Got Ya! But the funny thing is this....
Grace named each one and they were all named Peril. Don't know where she picked that up. First thing we saw was a cat and Graced name it "Peril the cat". We are in negotiations with Disney to create a cartoon called "Peril the Cat". In it the cat will get into all kind of dangerous situations, but will escape them all. Her name IS Peril of course.... :P

I know, I know. I am actually in pretty good shape tough (for me). I have tapered off since my last Triathlon (by design). But I plan on running today and through the weekend. My goal is a new PR at 25 minutes. We will see.
