What's your heartrate during a run? And what's your "normal" heartrate during the day?
-
During most runs it's a shade under 150 (146 avg for today's 30+ k), during high speed running it may creep up to over 170, and if I max it out running up and down a steep incline at high speed it may go above 180. I normally don't measure it during the day ;) but I do know that in total rest it can go down to around 35 in total rest and is around 50 just standing around. But remember: these numbers can be totally different for different people

hey norina! in a nutshell, HR training can be another tool to see / monitor just how hard your body is working during a run. you will need to know your maximum heart rate, several ways to calculate but best is an actual physical test, and then your workouts are based on a percentage of your maximum HR based on what you're trying to accomplish with the workout. kind of a broad brush treatment, tons more info on web..:-)

Thank you guys! I've measured it today, My heartrate was between 130 and 140! YAY! :)
