well, I made it! The time is rather skewed because I do stop and chat with some of the bikers who are biking the mountain! I still am not about to break a land speed record. It was good at first, since it was cool, but by 8 a.m., it was hot, so the last 6 miles were a real grind - but..ta da - done! Now begins the really tough marathon training.
