To Run or NOT to Run...that was the question. I chose to RUN!! I was sore and it was chilly, but I did it and am happy that I did.
I did the same routine as before: 5 min warm up/cool down; run for 1 min and walk for 1 1/2 min x 8. By run 4 I had my breathing under control and felt stronger, longer strides on run 5. Smiled through runs 7 & 8. Such a dork! : ) Feel great and invigorated. Can't believe I am doing this. I never played sports and have been exercising regularly for a month +. I am really enjoying the feeling it gives me. Oh! & who knew that running clears sinuses! Gross? Maybe. BUT there are SO many benefits to running and actually moving the body. Movement. Does the body & mind good.
