This was a PR for me... What a great way to start the year! My goal for today was 30' (9:39/mi)... Wasn't sure I'de be able to hold that for all three miles as 9:30 was about the fastest mile I'd run recently... Ended up running 9:26, 9:39, 9:50 and a 0:46 tenth (7:40). Official results put me at 29:39.89, 15/20 in my age group, 194/480 overall. As for the Weight Challenge, I came in 13th with a 6.91 (they used gun time rather than chip time).

    Haven't worn trainers since June. I've done 1 - 1.5 miles barefoot on known roads... still not ready to do 5Ks barefoot. The VFFs are very nice... comfortable to run in as well as lift weights.
