  1. RUN
    blah 2.5ish miles (with some real ... 2.64 mi 00:21 07:57 pace

2 miles, calf felt bad so stopped and did a few barefoot laps on a parking lot.

  2. So, I didn't get in to NY marathon again. Anybody knows of a good race in Oct-Nov? Was thinking of doing Portland. Has someone done it?

Bummer Pablo. Yeah, my friend Alma also didn't get in. Re: good races int he parts in Oct/Nov, I heard Portland is good, even though it's a bit spendy. There's always lower key events in the area, if you're tired of Seattle, like for instance, the Ghost of Seattle marathon.

I did Portland last year and it was a good course--- If you're looking for absolutely beautiful and scenic I'd also recommend Leavenworth (or if your like me, do both!)

good Bike commute to SAMM 17.53 mi 01:13 14.3mph pace

Felt good, but thought I was going faster than last time on the route, which ended up not being true.

  4. RUN
alright 5 miles capitol hill 5.01 mi 00:38 07:37 pace

First time running 5 miles after bike commute in the morning. Right calf felt a little tight around the middle and thought of cutting the run short to 4 miles, but by the end it was feeling fine, s... read more

  5. VELO
good SAMM to Marymoor 11.37 mi 00:39 17.6mph pace

Didn't do bike commute in the morning, but weather was nice, so went around the lake to catch the bus. Felt fresh, which is good considering the long ride on the weekend.

  6. RUN
    good 3 miles 12th ave 3 mi 00:23 07:45 pace

Not much to it, 3 miles in good old 12th ave.

  7. VELO
Lake Washington Loop 49.95 mi 03:20 15.0mph pace

First long ride in a while. Felt ok, but could definitely improve nutrition next time around. Garmin battery doesn't last that much anymore, so it died just getting into the 520 bike path.

  8. RUN
alright 9 miles in lake washington 9 mi 01:15 08:20 pace

Legs felt really great, however, I felt like I had no energy and that really shows on the split times. I will blame that on my being sick the whole past week.

  9. RUN
alright 3ish miles iN RTC 3.25 mi

Forgot garmin, so who knows what the pace was. It was good to not worry about that today.

  10. RUN
blah 5 miles in SAMM 5 mi 00:39 07:53 pace

Pace definitely slower than previous weeks. But, ever since i came back from Mexico, been dealing with stomach issues and I think I'm now catching a cold.

  11. RUN
blah 3.73 miles in SAMM 3.73 mi 00:30 08:03 pace

Dealing with stomach issues. Not fun.

  12. RUN
good 13 km in Monterrey 8.08 mi 01:07 08:19 pace

Weather was more enjoyable today as I started earlier. Right calf was a little tight at the beginning, but then felt good and ran the entire distance I planned (13 km ~ 8 mi). Getting pumped for Se... read more

  13. RUN
alright 3 miles in Monterrey 3.12 mi 00:25 08:01 pace

3 miles in the merrels. Still hot, but it didnt feel as bad as the previous run.

  14. RUN
alright 6.5 km in Monterrey! 4.04 mi 00:32 07:50 pace

Headed out to do 8 km but decided to turn back at 6.5 km since I realized I was not prepared to run in 28°C temperature. My last run was in 8°C in Seattle, so it's quite a change in temp.

Fun going down on the belred downhill.

  16. RUN
good 3.25 miles in SAMM 3.25 mi 00:25 07:32 pace

    Running in the merrels.

  17. RUN
good From home to elliot bay and back 7 mi 00:56 07:58 pace

Been a while since i've run this long. It sure feels good. Weather was nice and the pace was great. That mile 6 time seems weird. I don't remember slowing down so much. It might have been while wai... read more

  18. RUN
good 3 miles in RTC 3.02 mi 00:23 07:32 pace

3 minimalistic miles on the merrells. Just got to say I'm glad tomorrow is my rest day.

  19. VELO
alright Bike commute to RTC 18.06 mi 01:16 14.2mph pace

I guess I'm used to the sammamish route that has one big hill, but then its all flat and fast. This route has more rolling hills, and I guess it made it harder today.

  20. RUN
good 4.5 miles in SAMM 4.5 mi 00:35 07:43 pace

Great run. Even found a camping area for lake sammamish park I had never seen. Windy at times, but dry for a change.
