Foot update - First off thank you...no THANK YOU! to everybody who posted a quick "good luck" or whatnot on my post. I really appreciate it. Work is silly right now. I can hardly believe how busy I've become. I sort of miss the running for some mental quiet time, but I'll get back to it soon enough. In the meantime it's almost ALMOST fun being this busy. Kind of makes the days fly by.
Anyway update from the doctor. No x-ray was taken today. I'm a little bummed about that, but he wanted to wait for at least 6 weeks to make sure. We talked about what the next step will be if the x-ray is positive. I guess it's about 3-4 weeks of PT. What that means? I have no idea. How do you do PT on your big toe/ball of your foot? I guess I'll find out. So if that goes well, or maybe as a part of the PT I may be able to start running sometime in August I guess. Holy cow, that seems like it's right around the corner for me right now. August the schools open and I've got to get all my projects done. Ever see extreme make over when they built the homes in a week - yeah, imagine that kind of craziness.
So I'm going to try and keep up with your posts everyone, but please forgive me if I'm only on once in a while. I'm HOPING that once the summer is over it'll level off. I'm still new, so we'll see.
So in the meantime, I should do some pushups or something but I have to finish my TPS reports. I only wish I was kidding...
