      I thought the lanes were a little hard to read last night. My original line hit the pocket but consistently left the 10 pin. When I moved a little outside the ball hit the pocket soft. Moving inside my original line I came close to hitting the one pin head on. There was almost no room for error.

      Yes those are what I got! Aren't they great? Did you go to RAM for them? I too noticed they made my vision so good! Same experience- what little water that got in didn't really affect my eye. I also do the alphabet swim! And all kinds of other mnemonics to count my laps if I feel like changing it up. Good for you! Also a tip: try breathing every third stroke (or every 5th if you want to breathe less often) to get your breathing more ambidextrous.

      Absolutely! I took my daughter to our father/daughter ball last night. I see no problem with a parent bringing their son to it if the son likes to dance too! IN a few years, the daughters will be complaining that the boys don't want to dance. You know what? You gave them that impression by by hosting girl only dance events! It was a great time. I'm sorry to hear this about your son.
