alright Successful failure at WFG 20 mi 03:26 10:18 pace

    Twenty. Miles. Done.

If I had only three words that's how I'd describe today's long run. If I had more words, I'd say it was a successful failure.

    Why a failure?

Nice run despite the mishaps. And that babysitting gig you've got going on sounds like some true endurance training.

I also agree with everyone above - you finished 20 at WFG - two laps means two pretty serious hills to deal with. Can't think of a better place to do it. Also, I'm a tad older than you, but at our age no GI issues is quite an accomplishment! (Running or not!)

Thanks Steve, I think I will :-) And actually Andrea that does help me a bit. I don't mind focusing on my arms since I'm trying to give my legs a rest anyway. I'm sure that to become a better swimmer I'll need to get some coaching - maybe after NYC. Who knows. I will tell you one thing....no way I'm doing an Ironman without first winning the lottery so I can quit my job.
