After a brief rendezvous with the Strava/Garmin app on my iPhone, I am back to good ole' daily mile. I think the profile bar graph keeps me more accountable as my mileage for the week is right in my face. Plus, I'm sick of lugging my phone around on my runs. Anyone wanna buy me a garmin watch? :)

Anyways, this morning's run begins a new up-at-4:30-to-be-out-the-door-by-5:00am routine for me. I just am not motivated/get distracted by other fun activities by the end of the work day and haven't been consistent in my running. This morning's less-than-stellar performance exemplified this lack of dedication to the sport. I am aiming for 4 to 5 miles Monday - Friday, with at least one longer run over the weekend. Since I am not training for anything, I think this is satisfactory. Now I just have to do it.
