Ok run. Foot was ok for a few miles, had some achy times that I walked out ok. But pushed for the last half mile (nice downhill) and by the bottom I was at a 10min/mile pace and foot hurt like hell. Need to restrain myself next week, since the course is almost all downhill.

Running downhill can be hard! It's easier on my lungs, but not so good to my knees. Still a good run. Good luck with the rest of your training.

It's funny because we always worry about the uphill when some injuries really do a number during the downhill (IT band and plantar fasciitis among them). Good for you getting 5+ miles in.
