Zero week for Chicago Marathon training. Need to get some semblance of a base in the next few days. LOL. Wish I could say my legs felt great, but blah. At least they weren't bad. Oh where oh where has my cardio gone? Also, still feel like I'm about 20 pounds overweight. Because I am. Feh. Also, Garmin Connect/syncing is busted. More Feh.

Nice zero week run, Mark! You completed a marathon a month ago... I'd say you've got the base laid down. And, the cardio will come back quickly. In case you're not aware, there's a pretty large FitMKE contingency coming to Chicago this year. And we're bringing OUR weather... so get ready for it! This one's going to be AWESOME! :)

Well, thanks Marty, but it was a month and a half now, and I walked the back half. ;) With the weight and everything else, I REALLY feel like I'm starting over. Yet I'm motivated to kick some ass. Just need to shift to going to bed earlier again. That's been my killer lately. And yeah, bring on the FitMKEers!!! My cousin will also be running it as her first full. Awesome.

It'll get easier quickly, I bet. You're not starting from 0.
