FINALLY back to running. Second run since ILThon. Right foot is still feeling the marathon, so I've taken a lot of time off, but I woke up CRAZY early this morning and just HAD to run. Walked twice because the foot/ankle was acting up, but overall, felt pretty good. Cardio was decent, though of course not at all where I wish it still was. Official Chicago Marathon training starts, um, really soon. Weather was PERFECT at 5:15 a.m. Got new Saucony Pro Grid Guide 4's, too. Good day.

Glad to see you back! While doing my minimal shoe transitioning, I've had foot and ankle issues. I started doing "Asian squats" (see this humorous video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y76UbfBr5vo ) , rolling my feet over a golf ball, foam roller on my calves, and heel drops/lifts. These have REALLY helped me.
