My legs just aren't liking long, slow distance right now, so decided to switch it up with some intervals. Did 10 0.2 mile intervals with one minute walks in between. Did these on the trail around my kids' school playground, and the small, steady hill in the middle made things a bit challenging, but the legs liked this much better! Interval split paces: 5:44 - 5:36 - 5:41 - 5:33 - 5:43 - 5:57 - 5:45 - 5:44 - 5:51 - 5:27. 2.5 miles warmup and cool down.

Good idea to mix things up, Pete! Anything's good that keeps the run interesting; different locale, time of day, training partners, running shoe - or as you've done intervals.
