No idea how far or fast I ran, but maxed out on the treadmill for 15-20 minutes at UNH for a research study. VO2max of 50.5ml/min/Kg. Wrote about the experience here: http://bit.ly/TQtRtd

Very cool, thanks for doing the writeup, Peter. I have wondered about doing one of these tests locally, and will be reading your blog post with MUCH interest! I actually contacted a local college to see if they would do one for me (at a lower cost than the fitness center), but they told me that they can't due to liability.

did one of those in college physiology class. Much harder than it seems. Totally understand the difficulty with the mask, you just want to rip it off at the end to avoid eating your own puke.
