A full Andy™ would have been too much for me and Jack today, so I opted for a Half Andy™ instead. Just keeping the legs loose in prep for what will likely be my first race in 2 months tomorrow (a local 4-miler). Beautiful day, and I was able to wear shorts outside for the first time since last Fall!

Nice half Andy, Peter. It must be so much fun to run with Jack doing a half Andy!!!

Should've made this a relay Andy™ then. You run one 1/2, Jack runs the other. Oh well, next time.

yeah for spring-like temps in NH! This weekend should be great for a fun race!

Half an Andy™ for you and half an Andy™ for Jack equates to a full Andy™. Good luck in your race tomorrow Pete. Have fun!

How is your strep coming? My throat has been a little sore.

There are alot of trademarks here @ DM - maybe as ambassadors you collect some of these great events for reference. Great stuff.

Brendan, I think only the ambassadors have trademarked anything :)

Good luck tomorrow! You looking to set a PR, or are you still recovering from the bout of strep?

Good luck in your race, Pete. Best of success.

Tim - an Andy is a run of 6.52 miles, and is named after Andy O. her on dailymile. Fartlek is just a run wher you vary pace, incorporating short bursts of speed. I have yet to see anyone run a fartlek Andy.

Steven - I'm incapable of holding back in a race, but it's a really hilly course, so a PR would be tough.

yeah, I hear ya Peter. I've got a very hilly 5K on Sunday. I don't think I can hold back, but I don't know if I can break a 5:59 pace like my friend thinks I can. I guess we'll both find out pretty soon. Run hard!
