Ran back and forth on my street to get in a mile. Ankle a little sore but no sharp pains.

RUN
East Cobb Park 1.37 mi 00:12:25 09:03 pace
Ran at the small loop at East Cobb park so I could run on a flat surface and stay close to my truck. Felt a sharp pain in the bones on the top of my right foot at about the 1.25 mile mark so I shut... read more

Big Creek Trails 4.9 mi 00:50 10:06 pace
New trail! Jon Obst took me on the trails by his new apt. Always fun to explore new trails! I needed this one today. Woulda been another goose egg if Jon hadn't drug me out there.

Hey Javi! The trail is on Old Alabama. When you turn left onto Old AL from Holcomb Bridge it is 4/10 of a mile down on the left. The trail can be a little confusing. Glad I had Jon to show me the way. I think the trail was made mostly for mountain bikes. It is generally smooth - not very technical. There are maps at the entrance but not on the trail itself.

Another thing I thought was odd. It had sign/arrows at a few intersections that basically said to go "that" way on Mon/Wed/Fri - or something like that - but at several intersections there were identical signs pointing down every fork. Huh? I have three trails to choose from and I can take all three on "Mon/Wed/Fri"? But today is Tuesday? Do I have to turn around and go back? Ha! Good thing I don't follow the rules. ;)
