injured Early morning run, Outside 7.62 mi 01:28 11:34 pace

I have been having problems with my right heel since 2 weeks ago, i took 3 days off running this week, but today , still was in pain,but anyway i went out for my long run, took many walk breaks during this run, and after gettin home ,rested for few minutes.. now the pain is worst can't really walk, dragging my foot, tried soaking it in epsom salt, still the same, now debating if i should go to ER :(

    Oh no! Have you tried foam roller and extra stretching? I do toe taps, heel taps and foot rotations in both directions and it seems to help the pain I was having. If its not something that you can wait to call the doc about tomorrow then maybe the ER is the best option. I personally hate the ER and try to avoid it unless its really urgent. Have you tried icing it?

    As an ER nurse, the only thing they will do for you in the ER is xray you, give you pain meds and refer you to a sports med MD. But...when you can't walk, the pain meds are really rather important. I hope this starts to improve.

    Thanks everybody,went to a friend Dr. he is pretty sure is Plantar fasciitis,, so i am taking ibuprofen,using a night splint and frozen tennis balls.. and i guess will have to rest...no happy about it.
