Great day for a race. PR as its my 1st 14k race, lol. thought of it as a training run to some extent. Wanted to stay above 11:30mm. Walked the water/gatorade stops. I'm super stoked with this run. Stayed to plan and finished strong. Funny story, Mel J. came and tapped me on the shoulder around mile 5 and then left me. About .5 to the finish I thought I saw her and ran by her and said "come on lady lets get it". Wasn't long Mel J. pases me and is gonna beat me. I was like no way so I kick it and pass her going my fastest pace at 7:29mm only to find out it wasn't Mel. But I do thank this lady cause she made me put it on at the end. I didn't put it all out there today but a real good feel for my upcoming HM. Come on snow
