      If there's a hard, rough lesson I learned the 1st part of this season than it's this 1 Noel: don't always focus on the distances / quantity. Quality will sure get ya on a higher level!

      Short, hard runs will get you there!! One of the best things I did to improve my marathon times was run 400 meter intervals on the track. I also did 200s, 800s, 1200s and mile intervals. Once in awhile I even ran a 5k on the track and once in a great while, 10k on the track. These were very hard efforts, but it paid off big time! Stick with it and you will see the results, I'm sure.
