San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon 26.2 mi 04:43 10:48 pace

So excited about my new PR...cut off more than 30 minutes from my first and only other marathon. Finished the first half around 2:15. It was a nice day, a little bit hot but there was a nice breeze. I really should be thankful about the weather actually because I was watching the news this morning before I left and SoCal basically had the coolest weather in all of the US (besides AK). The bands along the way really helped and were a good distraction. My sister caught up with me about 4 times and it was nice to see her big signs and cheers! Great day, great race and now I'm ready for bed!

AWESOME Nina! So motivating that 30 minutes can be shaved off...well done! I crossed the half @ 2:15 as well, but due to serious calf cramping didn't finish until 4:58. But great job!!!
