      It sounds like a great idea, and once you seem less injury prone you can always look into adding more run days back into the schedule

      They can work well and I've even known a few people who did a 3 day marathon program with cross-training thrown in.

      Thanks for the input! I don't know if I'd have discipline for ONLY three days, but I really like the idea of less (3-4 days). Takes some of the expectation off to feel like I'm being lazy if something is twinging. I'm just glad the weather is better so I can finally get back outside with my bicycle to cross train with :)
