Keeping it slow and steady. Walked the pups for a mile or so to warm-up. Worked pullups in between sets, the last set of 5 was pretty sad. I feel soooo heavy.

Death by Hang Power Clean 65#
8 rounds
I swear our Beater bar feels heavier than the bars at the Box. It is a little wider in diameter, but is supposed to be the standard 45#. Hoped to get more rounds, but I guess 8 was enough today.

Great home workout! That bar does seem a tad heavier

Great work Nic! If its thicker in diameter that might be it.. why it feels heavier. If you've picked up an Axel bar those things feel much heavier when lifting.

Ellen: I have a power cage with a pull-up bar in our garage. It has too much kurling for kipping, plus the cage isn't bolted to the ground, so we have to keep our pull-ups strict.

Chris : I think so too. It's so strange how a few extra mm would feel so much heavier. If we ever get rich, I would love another more standard sized Oly bar just for Oly lifting and keep this one mostly for power lifting moves. As it is, when we go to the Box w/standard bars, the bars feel super light & we feel all badass.
