    good 5 mi 00:46 09:06 pace

Worked on some speed and distance this morning at the track. Funny how a nice, flat and squishy track running leaves my knees and hips hurting more then hills! I'll be stepping up the old exe... read more

Nice 5! Glad you could get the hubby out! Maybe the effort you put out on the flat track is too much your stride will naturally be shorter going up a hill with your arms working/pumping more. It's easier to over extend your stride on a flat. Maybe shorten your stride on the track.

Solid track work Nicole. Hopefully some rest and those PT exercises will do the trick. I also hope your husband is doing well.

  4. So bummed I missed out on watching the marathon yesterday (my husband was having surgery) I could've even snuck into Boston to actually meet some of you!! I have lived the marathon through so ... read more

YOU are amazing and the people in this region and that is what makes the Boston Marathon such a truly unique event. I was blown away from the uninterrupted decibel level along the spectator lines throughout the whole course! Thank you for your support!

  5. Hey everyone!! I've been MIA, but I have still been doing some running. Promise to be better with checking in!! Snow is gone, finally, so I've been out and enjoying the weather.

My husband was supposed to have his ACL repaired this past Thursday but it was rescheduled for 4/17. I told him the reason must be because we have another big storm coming and he needs to be able to snow blow for me. Yup! Tues, 8-12 inches!! LOL
