So, I'm totally blanking on the NYCM course. Where -exactly- does the course re-enter the park on the west side (like, mile 25.5)? I've even watched the movie and I can't figure out ... read more

Good run with Jenny S. Got some bad news via email so I was kind of glum, but she tolerated it well! I meant to go further but I didn't have it in me.

I hope you are OK. Do you want to talk sometime?

I have been hesitant to try Bikram because I don't like hot yoga. It is OK! I still want to try it once just to say I did!

It's definitely worth trying! Do one of the $20 unlimited weeks and try to go at least 3 times that week - and you'll know whether you love it or hate it. And if you love it, explain to me why so I can try to reconsider!!

It actually wasn't terribly bad since the humidity is still so low (THANK GOD) and there was a slight breeze. I was more bothered by all of the barbecuers. Made me hungry.

I'm not sure how much I'll use it. My habit is to upload my Garmin immediately to RunningAhead, so I have to remember to enter my data over here. In other words, I can almost promise I'll forget to keep updating soon :)

Yeah, re-enters at Columbus Circle. It is past 25.5. I would say it is 25.8 at the path into the park and 25.9 when you hit park drive. Thanks!! That's what I thought, but when I was running there today it somehow didn't seem right. I think I was possibly so excited about finishing last year that I wasn't taking in my surroundings...

Wait, no. You actually enter on the east side first at 86th street then run down to Central Park South where you exit and then reenter for the finish at Columbus Circle. But maybe you're really talking about the last tiny leg?
over 1 year ago • Like
lol, if I just read your post more slowly I would see that the tiny leg is exactly what you're talking about! Ha! You probably didn't recognize it because they put down a ramp and bright orange carpet and create a shoot with gates. It's jammed packed with people on both sides of the gates. Looks nothing like it does when you're just going for a run.
