Longest *attempt* in some time... ended up alternating walk/run for the last 1.5 miles or so.

RUN
good 4.36 mi 00:52 11:48 pace
Decided to push it today. Went about 3.4 miles and then some pain started coming in the left ankle. Sure sign to slow down. Ended up walk/running the last mile or so. Feeling good now, and overall ... read more

Light rain, but a pretty enjoyable run. Good form the whole way, and I can tell my ankle/calf/tendons are getting much stronger.

RUN
good 2 miles from home 2.02 mi 00:21 10:16 pace
kept up excellent form for 2 miles. Decided that i'm going to only increase mileage now when my form is correct the whole way through. That's probably obvious to most, but not me apparently. :-)

RUN
blah 2 mi 00:22 11:00 pace
Stupid new asphalt is spreading its stickiness onto non asphalt roads. Tons of rocks stuck to feet.
-
RUN
good 3.48 mi 00:40 11:29 pace
Tip for barefoot runners. Avoid freshly paved asphalt. The asphalt isn't so bad until you go *off* the asphalt and realize that your feet are covered with stickyness that keeps all those little roc... read more

RUN
good 2 miles from home 2.02 mi 00:19 09:23 pace
I've finally started hitting the gym again this week, so after a couple days of full body workouts, my legs were sore (obviously). Ran the 2 miles without too much difficulty, but it was super humid!

RUN
good 1.53 mi 00:14:41 09:36 pace
Continuing my ascent back to the 10K mark. Per my previous runs, started some left ankle pain near the end of the run. Definitely going further each time. Pavement was also hotter than I expected.
